WHOCAT is the fruit of the musical vibes of the Brussels' vocalist and musician Sara Moonen together with Joris Lindemans (double bass), Benoit Minon (guitar) and Davy Palumbo (drums & percussion). The backgrounds of the musicians are very diverse resulting in a sparkling alchemy and an original sound. Each track is a dynamic journey without boundaries. Upfront and intimate, vivid and lingering. Always intriguing...
Ever since the founding of the band in 2014, Whocat performed over 130 concerts in Belgium, toured twice in UK and gigged in France & The Netherlands. The first EP 'Blueprints' was released in 2015. The single 'Fishy Five' was picked up by Gilles Peterson & Toshio Matsuura and played on BBC6, Radio Nova & Inter FM Japan.
Whocat produced a full album 'Joyful Rebellion' in 2017, mixed by Staf Verbeeck, to be released in 2018.
