Vicky Kristine
Biographie
Born in 1992, Vicky Kristine grew up with the sounds of the nineties. She was soon captivated by synthesizers and discovered with great passion the music of Chemical Brothers, Vitalic, Faithless or Soulwax. These still resonate deeply with her today, along with other artists such as Skatebard, Chloé Caillet, Boys Noize, Ejeca, Denis Sulta and many more.
After becoming known in her native region, the producer now mixes across the country. She recently played in several clubs in Liege, and Brussels (Bivouac, Café des Halles, Pathé Palace, soirée Skratch), and will be playing for Altaar Festival in Hasselt and the City Parade in Mons this summer. She also plays regularly at the Gudde Wellen in Luxembourg, a reference club, which has hosted Boris Pupul, Mezerg, Ed Banger and many others.
While everything was at a standstill during the covid period, Vicky Kristine continued to perform with strict safety measures. She offered an exceptional live set at the Château de Bouillon and mixed live on social networks to support the various sectors affected by the crisis, from the kitchens of L'Amandier (Libramont) and in a hairstyling salon.
In 2021, Vicky Kristine was a resident on the electro radio station "Vibration - 107.2FM", broadcast in the capital. She also regularly played for "Mixx FM", the electronic music station in the Charleroi region.
The producer has no musical boundaries, she likes to be transported by several styles when she mixes. She takes the audience with her into her musical universe, from techno to house and disco. Similar to her first two releases "Exit" and "Reserve", Vicky Kristine manages to mix trance and melodic techno. She keeps this philosophy on her remix of Nina Simone - Sinnerman, released in November, available on Soundcloud and Youtube.
