Tiche Slam
Biographie
Tiche Slam is a slam songwriter & singer with mixed intercultural and linguistic influences.
Through lyrics, music and videoclips, Tiche hopes to inspire togetherness, critical thinking and fun.
His first original single “Virus de l’Afrique” streamed on African TVs for a year, thanks to a clip filmed in 6 countries starring local artists, and to a fruitful Belgian-Burkinabè musical artwork.
Thought he worked in the private sector, Tiche devoted his time to culture and social projects. He quickly explored styles. His verve & flow are recognisable as emotions vary. His stage performances adapt to context. His personal touch can be felt in beat- and filmmaking. His lyrics are somewhat complex yet simply musical and tainted with comedy, as he debuted in the urban open mics and is rooted in poetry and standup.
Belgian boy with a nickname from Brussels and family from Romania, Burkina Faso is his second home, and he enjoys links with the corners of the world. Curiosity and collaborations are reflected in his songs. Supported by Embassies, he specialises in intercultural relations and sociocultural projects.
Creator, Tiche is also active in other arts: design as Tiche Fashion, activism as Tiche Talk, and stand-up as Tiche Comedy e.g. with Montreux Africa on Canal+ TV, panafrican TVs like BF1, and Tarmac RTBF or Rochefort Festival in Belgium.
Behind the scenes, he is scientist, researcher, mediator, and Coach for kids & artists. His doings intend to take on a journey about education, openness and society.
