The Moon Berries
Biographie
The Moon Berries is a young Belgian indie rock band formed in 2022. Their sound blends classic rock and modern pop with touches of electro, oriental, jazz, classical and grunge influences delicate yet powerful, sophisticated yet catchy. With female vocals at the forefront, the band offers a fresh, modern twist on timeless rock energy !
Lifelong friends turned bandmates, Arthur, Théo, Kristina and the Sarahs grew up together sharing a deep passion for music. During the COVID lockdown, they decided to form a band, rehearsing covers before quickly moving to originals. Their first concert in 2023 confirmed their love for performing, and they've been playing local venues and festivals ever since.
In the summer of 2024, they locked themselves in a home studio to record their debut album "Halo", a fully self-produced project that captures the raw energy of their live performances, no samples, no pitch correction, just pure interaction and groove.
The album tells the story of a fictional character named "Jimmy", tracing his life in reverse, from old age to childhood.
With a hand-painted cover art by Sarah and mixing completed by Théo in early 2025, Halo marks the first major milestone in The Moon Berries' journey, a bold, organic and heartfelt introduction to their world.
