The Bulge

The lost soul of young US infantry soldiers, fallen during the Battle of the Bulge in Winter 44, still haunt the «Grand Pays» woods nearby Manhay. From then to nowadays, whoever walks in these woods, and take his rest under the shade of an elder oak, will probably experience a spiritual presence. Coming home, you might even have to repress the need of writing down strange poems you've never heard about before. Because these boys were at the eve of their lives, because they had dreams never been realized, because their will was so strong that it fed the trees by the roots upon which their bodies lied down, their hope and love are surviving through the elements, and penetrating through our brains. Remember not to fall asleep in the woods.
