Skuge is Hugues Croibien, 30 years old Belgian guy which experimenting electronic music since he drinks beers. Discovering Aphex Twin, Seal Phüric, The Prodigy, Autechre and Unit Moebius at the same time, he took some time to sort out this mess. Since these days, he has the curiosity of an explorateur and the obstinacy of a neo-romantic musician. At the beginning he made a few cdrs with his works between electronic-experimental and techno genre... which have obviously the badest quality existing in the the world. He brought ears and brain to parties, clubs and concerts and slowly fell in love with the rage expression which exists in the breakcore genre. Addict of reggae and dub at these time, he decide to create cut-up raggacore with his brand new magic Ableton Live software and put some of his breakcore tracks on the fresh belgian net platform "Electrobel". A few promoters remark him and propose him to play his music "live" for the first time in 2004. Then he had the chance to put an electronica/idm track on the tremendous "Polymorphic" compilation on his friend "Puzzling record" label in 2005 alongside Noize Creator, Xanopticon and belgians X&Trick, Ucture, Etschaberry and ALF. Then grime and dubstep came and has an effect on Sküge who tried to experiment a dark ambient "amenized" dubstep with a few tracks between 2007 and 2010. Besides, a dubstep track of him appears on an Electrobel compilation mix in march 2008. With a few friends he created "Break n'Brol", a non lucrative association which tried to promote alternative electronic music in Liège, where he lived. They especially bring for the first time on a belgian scene the bassline stars "Kanji Kinetic" and "Squire of Gothos" alongside to other alternative electronic composers and musicians like Subjex, Ebola, Mustard Gunn or the incredible Herrmutt Lobby. The fellowship decide to create a free netlabel to release compilations with the BNB parties artists. Sküge created a facebook, mixcloud, bandcamp and soundcloud page to promote his music and a few labels or artists contact him to put his tracks on compilations or albums...
