[FR] post- est un groupe de mathcore fondé en 2015.
Après un projet orienté vers le rock, Aënor (batterie) et Jeremy (basse) décident de muscler leur jeu. Ils rencontrent Allan (guitare), qui ajoute aux bases punk et nu-metal de ses comparses deux doses de groove pour une de mathcore. Suivent plusieurs semaines de recherches infructueuses... Allan croise finalement Rémy (chant) dans un bar et l'invite à une répétition. C'est l'alchimie. Après trois ans de service derrière le micro, celui-ci prend son envol vers Beyrouth. Il est remplacé par Wolf dont l'énergie a rapidement conquis tous les membres du groupe.
Le nom post- symbolise la somme des influences que chaque musicien apporte dans la composition. Post-hardcore, post-punk, post-rock ou post-metal... post- veut présenter un projet original qui dépasse les classifications.
Après une année 2017 mouvementée, ponctuée d'une dizaine de concerts (Smile, Péniche Légia, Live Club, Reflektor, 6K Fest...), post- s'est retiré durant six mois pour peaufiner son premier album N.I.C.U. et tourner leur premier clip qui est de chanson Burning Derservation tirée de l'EP.
Pour en suite revenir sur le devant de la scène avec de nouvelles chansons et s'étendre sur tout le pays en attendant tout en écrivant son prochain album qui est aujourd'hui fini et près à pouvoir être enregistrer !

Following a more rock oriented project, Aënor (drums) and Jeremy (bass) decide to strengthen up their game. Soon meeting Allan (guitar), whom ads two spoonfuls of groove and a hint of mathcore to the punk and nu-metal bases already in place.
After weeks of searching, in vain.. Allan ends up meeting Rémy (vocals) in a bar and decides to invite him to a practice session. The connection was undeniable. After three years of serving the band behind his microphone, life leads him on a flight to Beyrouth. He leaves the reins to his newly acquired backup vocalist Wolf who's energy quickly impresses the band.
Post- as a name is a symbol of the blend of influences brought by the musicians. Post-Hardcore, post-punk, post-rock or post-metal... post- aims to introduce an original project that goes beyond being classified.
After a busy 2017, filled with a dozen concerts (Smile, péniche Legia, Live club, reflektor, 6k fest....), post- went away for a 6month period to focus on their first album N.I.C.U. that they are getting ready to defend in a live performance. No compromises made, this band offers you the sound straight up, no tricks needed, backed up by a heavy moving show that you might not get out of in one piece.
