LORD and HARDY

They introduce themselves as an electro hip-hop band, undoubtedly in order to rank themselves among musical style.

However, this classification is, in my view, a little reductive.

Their tracks involve musical improvisation, surrealism, offbeat humour and a touch of rhythm that I would qualify as primitive.

I mean primitive in the original, ancestral, primary sense. It's a rhythm that we can find in the aboriginals music or in some African tribes one.

Even though the rhythm of their music fits into today and even tomorrow's musical style, it keeps its ancestral root.

I concede that «Electro jazzy hip-hop primitive improvisation» is a long statement, that's why I'll stick to electro hip-hop musical style.

Nevertheless, keep your mind open to their tones because their singularity opens up new horizons.
