Biographie
Après un projet musical commun, Yves Swolfs (guitare) et Eddy Richard (batterie) se retrouvent et sortent le coffret "Légende" sous le nom Wolfgang en 2007.
Rejoint par Jackie de Gennaro (basse et choeurs) en 2010 et par Patrick Muermans au chant (ex-Ken’s Novel, Antibody) en 2017, ils forment Jyve.
Construit autour de riffs puissants, de mélodies accrocheuses et de textes qui abordent des thèmes de société avec ironie et humour, le groupe propose un univers musical mélangeant classic rock, hard rock, prog et métal.
Le single "Don't Wait" sort en juin 2026 accompagné d'un clip.
Il annonce l'album en préparation et peut-être quelques scènes.

BIOGRAPHY:
After collaborating on a musical project, Yves Swolfs (guitar) and Eddy Richard (drums) reunited and released the box set “Légende” under the name WolfGang in 2007.
Joined by Jackie de Gennaro (bass & backing vocals) in 2010 and by Patrick Muermans vocals (ex-Ken’s Novel, Antibody) in 2017, they formed Jyve.
Built around powerful riffs, catchy melodies, and lyrics talking about social themes with irony and humor, the band delivers a mix of classic rock, hard rock, prog and metal.
The single “Don't Wait” will be released in June 2026, along with a music video.
It serves as a preview of the upcoming album and perhaps a few live performances.

Na een samenwerking aan een muzikaal project kwamen Yves Swolfs (gitaar) en Eddy Richard (drums) weer bij elkaar en brachten ze in 2007 onder de naam WolfGang de boxset “Légende” uit.
In 2010 voegde Jackie de Gennaro (bass & backing vocal) zich bij hen en in 2017 Patrick Muermans vocals (ex-Ken’s Novel, Antibody), waarmee de band Jyve werd gevormd.
De band speelt a mix van classic rock, hard rock, prog en metal, met stevige riffs, pakkende melodieën en teksten die met ironie en humor over maatschappelijke thema's gaan.
