Aux confins de l’indie pop et d’une approche jazz aux textures, Flavio Rio est le projet lauréat BXBOOST (AB/VOLTA/Growfunding) en 2024 de l’auteur-compositeur belgo-italien. En questionnant un parcours de vie singulier marqué par la recherche du sens de l’appartenance et de son identité, Rio développe un projet à la fois intime et lumineux, porté par une écriture sophistiquée inspirée par des artistes comme Jordan Rakei, Olivia Dean, ou Tom Minsh.

Winner of BXBOOST (AB & VOLTA BXBOOST 2024), he’s part of Brussels’ vibrant scene (STACE,ORIANA IKOMO,VOLTA) and set to release his debut album in 2027, with the ambition to go international.
