FatCat

Biographie

Fat Cat was formed in 2019, united by a shared drive to create engaging live music. From their first performances, the band’s natural chemistry brought out a lively rock sound that resonated with people and highlighted their cohesive energy on stage.

In 2020, Fat Cat released their debut EP, Decibels Please, featuring early compositions influenced by art rock. This release also marked their first step into social media and streaming platforms. Two years later, they followed up with Aliveness, a second EP that showcased their evolving style, drawing from Britrock and hard rock.

Now, Fat Cat set its sights on an even larger goal: releasing their first full-length album in 2025. Over an intensive two-week session at KoKo Records in Sprimont, they produced ten new tracks that blend their classic influences with a contemporary pop edge. Fat Cat’s style is now moving toward a more melodic, polished, and most of all, unique sound. The style can be summed up as melodic indie pop-rock.

As they gear up for this new chapter, their current ambition is simple: to ensure this new album resonates with their ever-growing community.
