D.M.I.

D.M.I. is an alternative rock collective made up of three close friends from East Belgium. Their musical journey started in early 2020, focusing initially on covering songs by bands such as Kings Of Leon, Biffy Clyro, and Red Hot Chili Peppers. Inspired by these artists, the band began crafting their own melodies and eventually their own songs. By late summer 2021, they released their debut EP "Inside-Out," featuring seven tracks that delve into personal issues of individuals or the group—topics they could never express without music. The band aims to continually evolve, daring to try new things and thereby establish their unique sound.

In September 2022, D.M.I. entered a studio in Aarschot, Belgium, to work on their latest musical project. With significantly more professional equipment and surrounded by professional help in recording, mixing, and mastering, and guided by a clear vision for their music, they produced their second EP, "Relations," released in the spring of 2023. With catchy melodies, profound lyrics, and a dynamic sound, the songs on "Relations" represent a clear artistic progression for the band.

A particular highlight for the group was their qualification for the finals of the prestigious SPH Bandcontest, where they secured 4th place out of over 1,500 bands and artists. This achievement not only demonstrates their dedication and passion for music but also marks an exciting new chapter in their musical career.
