ANA

ANA is singer, lyricist and composer Ana Rocha, based in Berlin and Brussels, with German and Portuguese roots. Her lyrics, focal point of her work, tell a life story, filled with various landscapes from the several places she has called home, a search for answers and truth, love and the place where time went, when it suddenly passed. Hear these stories on her album àžUntil the Dawn«.
Her personal compositions, written in collaboration with guitarist Thomas Maillet, are influenced by different styles, ranging from Jazz to Pop, Soul, Rock and Folk, reflecting various musical references and shifting from energetic to warm or melancholic moods.
Ana has brought out two other albums recently: àžSecrecy« (Igloo Records, 2020) on which she sings and writes lyrics for Diederik Wisselsà compositions, and àžThree's a Crowd« (2022) by Ana and the Duorkestra, her trio with Thibault Dille and Pierre Gillet, on which sings and writes as well.
